What this kit is for
This kit is designed for tracking many assets in a cost-effective way by combining GPS devices with BLE asset beacons.
The BLE Pallet Beacons are attached to the assets you want to follow, such as pallets, containers, roll cages, trolleys, or returnable transport packaging. The GPS devices detect nearby BLE-tagged assets. When a GPS device picks up a BLE beacon, the Pozyx platform can show where that BLE-tagged asset was detected.
This means customers do not need a full GPS tracker on every asset. Instead, lower-cost BLE beacons can be used on many assets, while a smaller number of GPS devices provide the location reference.
How it works
The GPS devices are placed on mobile or strategic assets such as vehicles, forklifts, trailers, containers, carts, or equipment that move through the operation. As these GPS devices move around, they scan for nearby BLE Pallet Beacons.
When a GPS device detects a beacon, the Pozyx platform links that BLE-tagged asset to the GPS device location. This allows the customer to follow where the BLE-tagged assets are seen over time.
